Now What?

The last time I visited my OB, I asked if I should take prenatal vitamins before I got pregnant. (Why wouldn't I plan ahead for the most important event ever? Don't you know me by now?) He said it couldn't hurt, so I asked if he would write me a prescription in the event that we wanted to try in the next year. I figured I only see him once a year, so I better ask now.

Well I had lost track of the little piece of paper until a few days ago, and decided in order to prevent in from becoming lost again, I should just take it in and get it filled. NO, I am not pregnant, but we have talked about having a family, or trying to, in the near future. Let's just say we aren't NOT trying (TMI? Sorry)

Anywho, I took the prescription in yesterday and was waiting for it to be filled, when the pharmacist told me that he actually needed to order it. I told him it was no problem since there was no rush, and proceeded to head out the door. As I was leaving the office, he yelled out 'Congratulations.' I just kept on walking out the door like I didn't hear him, since I didn't feel like explaining the whole story.

I ran home and tried to convince my husband that he should be the one to go in and pick it up since I didn't feel like explaining everything, but of course that didn't work. So today I marched in fully prepared to explain as I was paying. And of course, the celebratory pharmacist wasn't there!

So now what? I have to go out of my way to explain it to him when I want a refill apparently. Why couldn't this have just been an easy task? Geez!
