Defying Gravity...

I finally received the last portion of my Christmas present yesterday....two tickets to see this :
I read the book back in January, and loved it so I was already expecting big things. I had seen the Lion King on Broadway when I was in 8th grade and was absolutely amazed. I figured that this musical would be no different and I was right....it was amazing!

My husband did very well and got tickets in the third row! (BIG bonus points here). I was afraid Michael wouldn't be very interested in the show, but even he loved it. He even let me listen to the soundtrack on the way home (More bonus points for letting me sing along, very loudly - and no I can't sing).

We wrapped up the afternoon with dinner at Bubba Gump's at Times Square, and then a train ride back. A wonderful present!
