Michael has been waiting for his promotion for about 5 months now...but who's counting!? Today he got the news that that paperwork went through, and his promotion will happen on Saturday! I am so proud of him, and so happy. I know that even if he doesn't say it, he is very happy himself. You can now refer to him as Captain Michael Sharp!
Off to the right is the new rank insignia. 1st LT was one bar, Captain is double bars. I wish I was there to pin him, but I guess I can pin on Major in four years!
