Don't feel like you worry too much. Courtney looks for Mike on TV each time they show troops in Iraq. Try not to work yourself to death. I'm a perfect example of how not to work too hard. Take yesterday for example. I went fishing with my boss and coworker for the entire day. Hang in there buddy, and we'll talk to you soon.
I am a 4th grade teacher and love my job, even if I do need a glass of wine at the end of the day sometimes! I have been married to my amazing husband for over five years now and love every second we are together. We have survived a year deployment to Iraq and are happy to be together again. We welcomed our first child, Patrick, on April 2, 2011. He is truly a blessing! I started this blog as a way to keep Michael updated on my life if we couldn't talk, and for my friends at school!
We met in the summer of 2003, while we both lived at the beach. While I finished up school at ECU, we had a three year long distance relationship. After graduation, I moved back north and got a job teaching in the same district where Michael is also a teacher. We were married on June 30, 2007 and left for our honeymoon to St. Maarten a day later. It was an amazing week!
In January of 2008, Michael was notified he would be leaving on a year long to deployment with his Guard unit. He left on October 4, 2008, after the hardest goodbye I have ever had to give. On September 30, 2009, I welcomed him home safely! I have never been so happy. Now we are enjoying our time together and seeing what the future brings!

I wish I got to go fishing instead of work...I need the Dubis method of relaxation.
