As of today, my husband has been deployed for 300 days. Can you believe that? I remember back in October, when I prayed I would be able to make it this far, I couldn't imagine going this long without him. But we have made it.
On the other hand, with 300 down, that means only 65 more to go!!!

- I am a 4th grade teacher and love my job, even if I do need a glass of wine at the end of the day sometimes! I have been married to my amazing husband for over five years now and love every second we are together. We have survived a year deployment to Iraq and are happy to be together again. We welcomed our first child, Patrick, on April 2, 2011. He is truly a blessing! I started this blog as a way to keep Michael updated on my life if we couldn't talk, and for my friends at school!
