AHHH! It's finally here. I have been waiting for this month since my husband kissed me goodbye and walked through the security metal detector in that airport. I have waited for it every sleepless night and every lonely day.
School is out in 2 1/2 days for my students and just over a week for teachers! My husband will be home in 17 days....

- I am a 4th grade teacher and love my job, even if I do need a glass of wine at the end of the day sometimes! I have been married to my amazing husband for over five years now and love every second we are together. We have survived a year deployment to Iraq and are happy to be together again. We welcomed our first child, Patrick, on April 2, 2011. He is truly a blessing! I started this blog as a way to keep Michael updated on my life if we couldn't talk, and for my friends at school!
